WHAT
AN AMAZING DAY! TWO HUNDRED HEART SHAPED PILLOWS were made
Monday, February 18, 2008, for the American Cancer Society by 20 wonderful
sewers. What a wonderful time we had! It was great fun to sit and work on
these pillows which will be distributed to oncologists, hospitals, chemotherapy
units throughout central Illinois. And there are more coming, from those who
have taken patterns and are making the pillows at home. Lots of love is being
sent out by way of these pillows to those women going through breast cancer.
Thanks to all who have participated in this endeavor.

Come and visit our shop in a historic building in downtown Rochester, IL. Our unique and cozy shop has 12 foot exposed brick walls that offer fantastic spaces to display our latest works and class offerings. We are located immediately off of Route 29 in Rochester.

From Springfield: Take South Grand Avenue east. It becomes Route 29.
Travel four miles southeast to Rochester. Turn left at the Silo just after the
second stoplight and go one block north. We are on the Northwest corner.
From North or South I-55: Take I-55 to Exit 96A (Taylorville) by
Springfield. Travel four miles southeast to Rochester. Turn left at the Silo
just after the second stoplight and go one block north. We are on the Northwest
corner.
